To integrate a recording's label in the cover artwork doesn't seem to be something extraordinary generally. But this is something else, it's the label's size that makes the difference. The average size of a 12" record's label is 4", in this special case the company decided to increase the label to 6", and not just this, both of the sides have picture labels.
The asymmetrical allocation of colors is different and contrary between cover and label, additionally each side has an own image. Not really breath-taking, but certainly a cunning and eye-catching design.
